Michelle and Glenn, I am a descendant of Thomas III "2nd Fork" Dodson and have in my files DAR papers showing that "he signed the Oath of Allegiance along with his son-in-law (Moses Hanks) in 1777 as attested to by the County Clerk of Pittyslvania Co, Va." No mention in these papers of his providing supplies. I descend from Thomas III through his daughter, Betty, who m. David Dodson. They settled in Maury Co Tn with the Hanks and other Dodson families.
