McCanse St. > Springfield, MO 65803-3613 > ggohr01@mail.orion.org Glenn, Eli Dodson was born in White Co., Tenn. and died in Marion Co., Ark. His parents were Eli E. Dodson born 1798 in Shenandoah Co., Va. and died March 17,1828 in white Co., Tenn., and Mary "Polly" J. Goad born 1807 in Va. and died Oct. 12,1831. His grand parents were William Dodson and Tabitha Hendrick. From what I understand Col. Eli Dodson was brought up by his uncle Alexander Goad after his mother passed away and that is who brought him to Ark. I hope this helps you out. Sandy Noordhof Pontiac, Ill. noordhof@fcg.net
