Sandra, I'm interested in where you got info. that Charles Dodson, Sr. married Ann ELMORE. The Dodson book does not give that info. Others have stated here maiden name was Dodson also and that her father was a Benjamine Dodson. An Ann Dodson was given a legacy by her father, Benjamine Dodson. Whether this is our "Ann Dodson" or not, I do not know. Also you list Charles Dodson, Jr. as married to Anne STONE. Where did you get this? A man who lives here in Springfield, MO--Robert H. Stone, has written 3 books on the Stone Family. He might have more on a possible Stone connection if there is one. I have a Sarah Ann Stone who married Andrew Woolverton, one of my ancestors in another line. I've been trying to track her ancestry. This Anne Stone is not listed in the Dodson book either.
