Jarrell Date: Wednesday, October 28, 1998 8:03 PM I am posting the following note from the Gibson County TN list and attatching a paragraph from Goodspeed's History of TN 1870. Mary Nevil of the query is of Thomas Nevil's line from Amherst Co., VA. Can anyone shed any light on these people. Milton >From Goodspeeds "In 1869 William Jarrell established a foundry and plow factory. Two years later he sold a one-half interest to W. H. Dodson, and the business was conducted under the firm name of Dodson & Jarrell until 1878, since which time Mr. Dodson has been the sole proprietor. From twelve to fifteen hands are employed in manufacturing the "Jarrell Plow," cotton scrapers, and other implements. Until recently a grist-mill was operated in connection with the foundry." ---------- > From: Barbara Jensen <bjensen@greenville.infi.net> > To: TNGIBSON-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: [TNGIBSON-L] James W.
