I often see these volumes listed as a source for information on our DODSON Ancestors -- are they considered "The" definitive volumes, the "true" or as nearly true a history of our family origin as is available? Where do they begin -- with which Ancestor? I'm relatively new to the list, and my DODSON research to date, has been dependent on quality communication and suggestions from more experienced listmembers. Will you share your opinions, please?
