Regarding Sarah Bennett Dodson [My GrGRGrandmother]that married Timothy Carmichael,30Jan1866, she was not the daughter of #150 Micajah and Tabitha Dodson as stated in the [Dodson of No Farnham Parish]book on page 89. She is the daughter of Tabitha Dodson and father unknown. Tabitha was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Dodson [1st cousins] Sarah B Dodson was illegitimate but proof of her linage was proven in court, when she inherited land thru the death of Joseph and his father George Dodson Jr. More info can be obtained from the Va/NC Peidmont Genealogy Society, Danville, Va.
