Karen, I am descended through Thomas Dodson, Jr and Elizabeth Rose (twice). They did not have a son name Abraham. Thomas, Jr. left a will (dated 12 Aug 1779) naming children - sons: Thomas, George, William, Jesse and daughters: Sarah, Elizabeth, Else, and Rhody. Your Abraham is the 8th of 10 children of Thomas, Sr. and Mary Durham (Joshua and Jesse being the final two). It is possible for Mary to have children at age 37. My uncle and aunt's oldest child is 29 and the youngest is 4. The oldest has three children older than her own brother. Talk about confusing generations. As for Gov. Richard Hunt, I have him married to Frances Grimsditch on 28 Mar 1643 in the St, Margaret's Church in Lee, Kent, England. I also have three different birthdates for Judith Hunt ranging from about 1636 to 1646. Richard Hunt is supposed the son of Thomas Hunt born 16 Jun 1577 in Mereworth, Kent, England. For Judith Hunt's husband Henry Durham, I found him born about 1634 in Port Royal, Caroline, VA and 1640 in England. Plus I have a deathplace as Farnham, (old) Rappahannock, VA after 1690. His parents are from Pittingham, Durham, England. Hopefully someone can find accurate dates. Until then, I just take what I get with a grain of salt.
