Jesse DODSON B 1752 and his son Elisha DOSON b 1785 are listed as Reverand. I belive they were Baptist ministers. Does anyone know more about the Baptist tradition in this family or the churches that these two might have been minister of? Was this their primary occupation and were they ministers in the sense that we would think of them today or were they more like an Elder?
