I posed this question to him (and to Steve SMOOT who has the wonderful Smoot lineage in the Family treemaker site) as I do to the Discussion line. I have the same lineage on the Judith Hunt line that Glenn has with one exception and now I am wondering if I got some information in error...... Check this out..... 1st generation) Gov. Abraham Dodson b 4 April 1723 in RIchmond County Va. m. Barbary Russell b. 9 November 1727/28 in North Farnham, Va. died after 1780 in Farquier County Va. I WONDER IF....... I am missing a Generation in between .......Can anyone confirm this? Look at the dates for Abraham's Mother.....supposedly Mary Durham is his mother and though it is certainly possible for a woman of 37 years of age to have a child (as they often did), I wonder if Mary Durham Dodson/Thomas Dodson Sr. are Abraham's parents or are they his grandparents! There is another Thomas Dodson generation..... Rev Thomas Dodson Jr. who married Elizabeth Rose who also died in Farquier County Va. Was the <great> Reverend Thomas Dodson (who married Elizabeth Rose) Abraham's brother......or was he his father???? ( the dates could render either answer!)
