HELP!!! I am still searching for a connection to MILLER DODSON b 1797, lived in Madison County, VA. Married DILLA and had several children one of whom was ANDREW CHAMP AKA A. Champ. A. Champ's son was BELL FIELD DODSON. Both Andrew & Bell lived in Madison County, VA. I have the Lucas books and know of the Reverend Miller Dodson. We think is that the name "Champ" and "Bell Field" were names passed down from the maiden names of grandparents, but no proof. I would love to have some help in breaking through this barrier.
