    3. Hi, thanks for the response. I just for the first time have sat down and entered what I have into my family tree maker. My uncle sent me a lot of work that he did about 30 years ago. Unfortunately it is hard to follow. I will try not to confuse you but it appears that I am from two lines of George Washington Dodson and Elizabeth Faggan. On George I have him born March 18, 1779 Laurens Co., SC. In the notes I have it says George was from Scotland and was Scotch Irish . It states that he was a Baptist preacher. The church that he preached at was called the Old Jeruslem. In Columbia Co.,Arkansas. I don't have a b. date on Elizabeth Faggan but show her b. GA. her father Michael Fentress Fagan. I have 10 children for them. I have them married abt. 1807 New Echota, Cherokee Nation,GA. My first line from their son William Faggan Doson b. 1819 d. May 20, 1874 spouse Lucinda Lollar. I have her being born in Alabama. 1822. d. bef 1870 their daughter Elizabeth Faggan b. December 24, 1842 married Hillery Taylor July 4, 1867 their son Hillery Herbert Taylor married Martha Eula Dodson their daughter Bessie May Taylor b. February 6, 1909 m. 1st J. D. Magouyrk my uncles father-- the m.2nd Samuel Abner Curlee my mother's father Sandra Gail Curlee my mother married Clarence Edward Cearley. My second line of George Dodson and Elizabeth Faggan is from their son Richard B. Dodson and spouse Lucy A. Dumas their daughter Martha Eula Dodson b. September 18, 1880 m. Hillery Herbert Taylor December 27, 1903 I hope this makes sense to you. I have William Faggan and Lucinda Lollar with 13 children. In one of the stories that my uncle collected it has that one of the Lolly or Lollar brothers killed a man and had to leave for his fear of his life. He came to what is now Columbia Co. and sent back word of the opportunities here. After they had all moved here (William Faggan, Charles, Richard B. Augustine Prior and Micajah) the Lollar man and William Faggan were penning hogs, when the job was completed they ran to the spring. Lollar reaching the spring first fell to drink the water. A rattlesnake srtuck him in the forehead. He died bbefore they could get him to the house. (Told by Willie Dodson, son of Ben Franklin Dodson son of Joseph Payne Dodson son of William F. Dodson.--- I have a little more on some of William Faggan's children if you want it. I would love to know you line and compare notes!!!!!
