Dodson book by Williams & Lucas on pp. 1496 & 1497 (in vol. 2). Circumstantial evidence indicates that Tabitha was the daughter of Thomas and Sarah Dodson. This Thomas was a son of Greenham-3, Thomas-2, Charles Dodson-1). Sarah was a daughter of Elisha and Sarah (Averitt) Dodson. That makes for a double Dodson connection. Descendants of Tabitha Dodson and Moses Patterson ended up in Springfield, Missouri, where I live. Most of the info. on the descendants of this line (pp. 1496-1504 of the Dodson book) was supplied by Hollis H. Brower of Springfield, MO. He belonged to the Ozarks Genealogical Society of which I am a member. He is now deceased. Possibly I could put you in touch with one of his family members. Tabitha Dodson Patterson is buried in the Dodson Cemetery at Mentor, Missouri. Presumably others of Tabitha's family also settled in this area.
