I just received this from Janet Ricke who publishes the Hightower Quest Newsletter. She lists the following: 1713 Will of William Goodridge, "WILLS OF RICHMOND CO., VA 1699-1800" Gen. Pub. Co., Baltimore, MD, p. 26, from Will Book Page 148 - William Goodridge, NFP, will; written 12 May 1713, proved 2 Sep 1713, named Thomasin wife of William; to son William all land in Lanc. Co., which I bought of Richard Alderson and John (Buxton); other chil. Moses and Elizabeth; desires Mr. Rawleigh Chinn to have the care of the three chil. until age 21; ex: fr. Rawleigh Chinn; wits: none given, but prov. by the oaths of Dorothy and Thomas Durham. (Sr.)" (Dorothy was the sister of Thomasin, wife of, William Goodridge, and was sister of Alice, wife of John Chinn). 1725 Will of Anne Chinn Fox Chichester: Anne referred to Aunt Dorothea in her will. This certainly confirms that Dorothy, Alice, and Thomasin were sisters. Does anybody have information on the Goodridge's? What happened to Thom asin's first husband and when? Can someone find a will for Thomasin Goodridge? Steve Smoot
