    1. Name Spelling Change/My Line
    2. Larry and Tracy Hime
    3. The name change does seem, to me, to be deliberate. My line is Charles>Thomas>George>Lazarus>Elisha after Elisha the name changes from Dodson to Dotson, and there it stays. They all lived around the same area, I have that Elisha (who was married to Rachel Henry) moved from Halifax County, Virginia to Williamson County, Tennessee. But there were Dodson's around that area as well as Dotson's. The rest of my line is: Reuben>James Madison>James Christopher>Henry Nicholas Shaw>Edwin Eugene (my father). I have never posted before, if anyone recognizes my line, please let me know. Up to my grandfather, Henry Nicholas Shaw (I don't know why he was given three names, no one else that I've noticed has three) the all lived in Dickson Co., Tennessee. He moved to Sherman County, Texas in the early 1900's and stayed there. The town where my dad and his 10 siblings were born is called Texhoma, TX/OK it's in the panhandle of Oklahoma, on the border of Texas. The school is in Texas, but the post office is in Oklahoma. Very small town. My dad and most of his living sisters still live there. I have information on every family in my line, except for James Madison Dotson born Dec. 5, 1809 in Pleasant Ridge, Williamson County, Tennessee, died Feb. 15, 1847. He was married to Susan Hardiman. Please let me know if anyone knows my line. Tracy Dotson Hime lhime@okcity.tds.net
