My grandmother, Edna Lorraine Dodson born 1903 Hunt County, Texas had a brother named Weldon Dodson born about 1912 also in Hunt County, Texas. Their father was William Richard Dodson born 1875 Chattahoochee County, Georgia. His father was from Wilkes County, Georgia. The family came to Hunt County, Texas about 1885 from Chattahoochee County Georgia. Our two Weldons do not seem to be the same. Guess Weldon was a fairly common Dodson fore-name for the 19-teen era.
