My adopted Grandmother & 6th cousin, Lorena Blankenship's was a daughter of William T. Blankenship. His mother was Nancy J. Dodson, a sister of James Raleigh and Allen Dodson. Nancy apparently died in TN before the 1870 census; the father disappeared. Nancy's child, W.T. Blankenship came with his Dodson uncles to North Texas and later settled in Bryan County, OK. 1.
