Believe their Dodson family may have been from the Elon, Amherst Co,Va area. Their mother, Margaret Linda Dodson Wald Branum, was reported to have been born in 1950 in Va and she died in 1992 in Southern Md. She was the daughter ( & youngest child ) of Bernard Harris Dodson Sr, b. 1907(in VA)-d.1983 (in Southern Maryland) & Margaret Virginia Smith. "Linda" is supposed grand-daughter of Paul D. Dodson ( born July 1878 in VA ?) and Olivia H. Taylor Dodson (B July 1879? in VA). I believe I may have found Paul & Olivia Dodson on 1900 Census for Amherst Co, VA. Anyone out there who might have any additional ideas or info? Ring any bells?
