I'm glad to have been able to help. I continually "work" to spark an interest in family heritage and history in my cousins, nieces and nephews, granchildren. I think it is important that we all know about our roots. Much of my Dodson heritage is a brick wall from my great grandfather that we know very little about on back. But my brother and I continue to work at it and hope someday to break through that wall. My daughters will be so thrilled to learn that we have a direction to go in. I am saving this all to pass on to my 3 year old grandson since his mother grew up knowing almost nothing about her roots. Ironically, when the girls were young, we had taken them to Lynchburg, Va on a vacation side trip and we never knew their greatgrandfather actually once worked in Lynchburg and that it played a part in their family history. We relocated to the Shenandoah Valley about two years ago, but our eldest got married and both girls chose to stay in Southern MD for now, though thay have been considering moving out here at some point. Now I have another new area to introduce them to when they visit. I can't wait to show them where their family came from one day.
