My grandfather was Robert H. Hayes of Pearl River County, MS. On my grandfather's death certificate, they are listed as his parents. I know he has 2 brothers William Oliver Hayes and LeBarn Hayes and 1 sister Lovie Hayes. I do question the fact that Mandy would have possibly been 44 years of age when my grandfather was born. I could use all and any information since I have never been in contact with this side of my family. Thanks!

In the Dodson book there is a Mandy C. Dodson, born 12 Nov 1877, Fayette Co., Alabama married Jim Hayes. Mandy was the daughter of Wesley J. Dodson, b. 11 Feb 1841, Fayette Co., Alabama, died 23 Oct 1915, Lamar Co., Alabama. Wesley married 9 March 1865, Fayette Co., Sarah M. Foster. Mandy was the 6th of about 9 children. There is other information in this book on Mandy's ancestors if you think it is the right one. You didn't mention your grandfather's birthdate so I've nothing to compare to.
