My mother is Rita Ambrose who is the daughter of William Edward Ambrose who is the oldest son of Kate Ambrose and her first husband Jacob C. Ambrose and Amelia Jane Wethington Goode Ambrose. Now this gets real good here ,.My mothers brother Henry Goode was married to your aunt Anna Laswell, sister of your mother Christine (know as Tiny?) your aunt Anna was both my mothers Aunt and sister-in-law. You have a brother that my mother was fairly close to when small children. Where do you fit in? I think we are both first cousins and second cousins at the same time. I have been trying to find out about you grandfather Laswell for 20 years. What can you tell me. Where was he born, when, to who, brothers and sisters When and where were Kate and he married. I have never been able to find devorce papers between Kate and Jacob Ambrose. Do you know why she was an Ambrose on her death certificate and her tomb stone? So nice to hear ! from a close cousin.
