Dodson who married Elizabeth Fagan, and Their son John Morefield Dodson married (Martha Mary Abigail Warden) this was his Frist Wife, and they had a son named Robert B. Dodson who married Rosanah M Hocott or (Holcott) and Their son was James E Dodson who married my Mary Ann Satterfield, this was James's frist wife, they had Oma Dodson thats my mother's mom, i had Oma and James's Divorce rec. and he was a lawman for many years in stone county, but i cant find a picuter of him any where, i have some of his stuff like where hes buried at. and where he live at last, he was married 3 times that i know of, i just wish i could fine any thing on them at all like, you would think they would have some pictures of him in that town, him being a lawman that long, mom told me that he always said they where native's but they couldnt say they was coz they couldnt work if they said they was, well thats how im in the Dodson Family. hope this helps.

Sandy, Do you know who your George W. Dodson's parents were? I am from Thomas Dodson, Sr. and Mary Durham and my Rev. Joshua Dodson was their son. He was married to a Ruth [possibly Rose]. I have the oldest child of Thomas Dodson, Sr. and Mary Durham was named George Dodson and he was born on Oct. 31, 1702 in Richmond Co, Va. and died in 1775 in Pittsylvania Co, Va. Could this be your George?
