    1. Hi Dodson researchers (Dodson & Ashcraft discussion)
    2. I was reading the list archives and also have received an email from another person on this list (and have in the past corresponded with other Dodson researchers) I can't say I've found anything new (since I rarely have time to work on genealogy). But I noticed some things were directed towards my searches (on message boards). I never saw the replies that were in this email list -- I only saw replies to the message boards. So, forgive me for not answering!! It only made sense for me to subscribe to this list and we can continue the discussion. This is what I saw in the archives: on Fri, 18 Mar 2005, this was posted by Marge Lingenfelter "I have Richard Ashcraft and Elizabeth Carr, daughter Mary B. Ashcraft b. 22 Aug. 1771, Fayette Co. Pa. d. 1857 in Indiana married Johnthan James Dodson 26 Apr.1791 in Pa. He was b. 4 April 1772 d. 1 Nov. 1830 after married moved to Indiana. Children: Elizabeth Dodson b.21 April 1792 md. 7 Feb. 7 Feb. 1808, John Frakes, Sarah Dodson b. 21 Sept. 1793 md. 1811 Jessie Shacklett, Jane Dodson b. 16 Feb. 1797 md. 1. Isaac Kellams 2. Thomas Jefferson Gibson." Thanks Marge! The Elizabeth Dodson and John Frakes mentioned above are my line. Malissa Ann Frakes (I suppose they sometimes spelled it Frackes) and Thomas Jefferson Gibson were my great grandparents. So, anyone researching the Ashcraft-Carr or the Dodson-Ashcraft lines... if there is any more that you know, please share! thanks, DeeDee Hamm
