My mother is 89 years old and she can't tell me anything any further back either. My grandmother was Bennie Dodson Odell, she had a sister Bessie Dodson Newsome Roark, a brother named Bud and Robert and maybe others. There is a Dodson reunion every year in Sept. (was last Sunday) but my mother wasn't able to go, it's held in Rockingham County, NC. Mom says the full name of Emma was Emma Zetta Elizabeth Ingletine (sp) Brown. Knows nothing any further back on the Brown side. If you come up with anything, I'd appreciate it if you let me know and I'll do the same.
