I purchased the item at an antique store in Springfield KY. It says .... In loving remembrance of our dear one LOUIS ARVIN JONES Died May 3, 1886 Aged 6 years, 8 months, 9 days. Although I have had this item in my possession for several years, only recently have I been able to learn anything more about the deceased or his family. A search at FamilySearch.org reveals that a child of that name, died on May 3, 1886 in Upton, LaRue county, Kentucky. His father was Lewis Andrew JONES (1842-1912), a son of John JONES and Lucinda HUNT. His mother was Syntha (or Cynthia) Mary DODSON (1855-1933), a daughter of Byrd Granville DODSON and Elizabeth Ellen WILLIAMS. *** I would like very much to return this item into the loving care of Louis' family.
