She was born September 26th 1921 to the late William Weller and Gladys Elder Knight. She graduated in 1939 from Lash High School, Zanesville, Ohio, retired from J. C. Penney Dept. Store and was a member of the South Zanesville United Methodist Church. Marjorie is survived by her children, Dixie (Tim) Patterson, Linda (John) Offenbacher, Ralph (Kate) Dodson, Joe (Rose) Dodson, Dan (Barb) Dodson; grandchildren, Todd Patterson, Troy Patterson, Shelly Totman, Kelly Sherman, Kim St. Clair, Samantha Maxwell, Colleen Spencer, Dade Dodson, Katie Bell, Christopher Dodson, Luke Dodson, Lori Dodson, Natalie Dodson; great grandchildren Tyler, Colin, Kendra, Brandon, Alexandria, Kelsey, Chase, Chloe, Hunter, Gage, Grant; great, great grandchildren Zaler and Bailey. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph (Smitty) Dodson; and son, Thomas Dodson. Visitation for Marjorie will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Mon. May 5, 2014 at William Thompson Funeral Home in White Cottage, Ohio where funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tue. May 6, 2014.
