Elizabeth Bennett. Their marriage bonds was on February 24, 1798. Looking thru the list of Pittsylvania County Marriages 1767-1850 The only 'marriage bond' listed that 'may' fit the time frame of possibility is a Joshua Dodson m. Ann Shelton bond date of 21 September 1779. I emailed just a while ago to Chatham , Virginia clerk which I saw was where the original document is or a copy and requested a look up or a copy of both. Is Ralph Dodson and even Elizabeth Bennetts parents known by anyone. Thank you ffrom Granddaddy to my precious 4yr. old and 3 month old Dodson descendent.
