DODSON were in Brown, TX on the 1880 Census, with ch. Margaret E., Fannie E., Elijah, Paralee, Jesse, and George W. Dodson. They were murdered soon after census and children were split up. The boys went to OK to be raised by Chambers relatives; the girls stayed in Texas and were raised by Dodsons. James was listed as a full-blood Indian on the 1880 census. (Mary is listed as white.)
