March 15, 1861 Humphreys Co. d. April 18,1944 McEwen,Tenn *note her place of birth should be Dickson Co. No children were named on the Will of that William Willey except.for stepson Isaac Wright. Just mentions "wife" "children" and children from previous marriage . I just assuming its the will of W.D. Willey. Who I believe is either the likely father or uncle of Susan Dotson. Joy, please pass this data along to any descendants of Jennie Fletcher. My late grandfather Lonnnie Gus Dotson b. 1920 Tenn. City,Dickson County remembers his family still had letters from the children of Jennie Dotson-Fletcher, when he was a kid. He knew that she had married a "Fletcher" and had moved to Texas. In McEwen along White Oak creek Ben and Jennie resided near the Hooper farm, where Montezuma & his wife Elvira Hooper (my G- Grandparents) and also near my other G-Grandparents, Andy Ethridge & his wife Mary Dotson(not sure of her relation to Mont Dotson. Andy and his family left Tenn. during the War going to Kentucky until it was over. Came back and bought land on White Oak creek for 75 cents an acre! Maybe Elvira's father Jim Hooper could have given him a deal or someting. The Hooper's were neighbors to John Dempsey Dotson and his family, when he was a young boy,then he moved to Dickson Co.
