It had nothing to do with class. When the people needed a name, as we were highly regarded they came to our family to be given a name. When the first King of Scotland was scheduled, as we were highly regarded they came to ask our family representatives attend to give their blessing. That led to the condition we leave at the first opportunity because no man should have a king. So who are "the elite"? Our lands were most recently known as Caithness, Cairngorms, and near Loch Rannoch. >From earliest time, we built weirs, roads, and orchards. Not laborers at all, we always had wealth.
