John Dod's muster role defines Jane as his 'wife', age 40. He was 36. In 1621, Jane Dier came on a Bride's ship (47 ladies if I remember from the article), and was 15 years old making her date of birth approximately 1606. In 1624, date of muster role, she would only have been about 18. His wife then was 40, and named Jane. I don't see this Jane being Jane Dier. I'm not saying it's Jane Eagle Plume either, but it would be more likely an explanation. I'm going to post the links where I found all this information. There are several so I'll do it in a separate post. Linda Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
