There is a reference to 5 sons with names but only a reference to several daughters and researchers were unable to learn the names. Have you checked the marriage records for her name, some times the father is listed. Another idea is to check local churches for postings of up coming marriages. The census shows Asa in Graves Ky 1830, 1840, 1850 (show A and Nancy and someone has penciled in Armsread which I would question unless that is an alternate name, as James Dodson who fits in Asa's line is on the very next page.) If you give me the name, husbands name, a locations or two and dates for your grandmother I will be happy to look a bit more.
