"Son" on end of name added later. One of only 50 colonists out of 230 to survive first year. Married the sister of Pocahontas (Nickotek(sp)or Jane Eagle Plume and est. a plantation in Virginia. I am 13th generation Dodson. This is an old family story passed down from father to son. Also, every male given E as middle name...Edward, Edwin, Eugene, etc. for at least 5 generations. Coincidence?
