I did run across this last night though, and wanted to post it for those who may need the information on John Dod's, Jamestown Colony. From: "The Living in Virginia - 1623" John Dod's and wife, Mrs. Dod's 'The Original Lists of persons of quality; emigrants; religious exiles; political rebels; serving......' p 202 "Musters of the Inhabitants of America" in "Neck of Land-Corporation of Charles City" The Muster of the Inhabitants of the Neck of Land in the Corporation of Charles Cittie in Va., taken the 24th of January 1624.; The Muster of John Dod's John Dod's aged 36 years in the Susan Constant April 1607 Jane his wife aged 40 years p 267 "Patents Granted" "The Corporation of Charles Cittie" John Dod's 50 Acres Note: 50 A of land was being granted to settlers at the rate of 50A per head, indicating that John Dod's arrived in America alone, and probably married here.
