Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery. Anna passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012 at The Ohio State Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born May 7, 1949 in Alexandria, Ohio to the late George Dotson and Stella Olive (Kreager) Williams Dotson Giles. Anna, a lifetime resident of Licking County, was a 1967 graduate of Northridge High School and retired from the Newark Air Force Base. A member of Heath Christian Union Church, she was also a member of the Red Hat Society, NARFE and was a forty-four year member of the Alpha Beta Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority where she participated in volunteer activities including nursing home visits. She was a lifetime member of the 101st Airborne Division Association. She is survived by two brothers, Charles (Norma) Williams of Johnstown and George Dotson, Jr. of Pickerington; a sister, Clara Belle (Mel) Hazlett of Columbus; a sister-in-law, Janet Williams of Newark; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lester Williams. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, at the funeral home, 59 North Fifth Street, Newark.
