Hi Karen, My family was a Dodson family in Bryan County. There was another Dodson family there as well and so far we have not been able to connect them. THIS IS OUR BRICK WALL, we can't locate any information on him. DNA testing shows that we are descended from Charles Dodson Sr. the generally accepted immigrant ancestor. His wife was Sarah A. They had a daughter named Anna G. A. that was two then. In the 1900 census they lived in Norfolk City and Anna wasn't mentioned, but they had two sons Charles A born in 1867 and Clifton H. born in 1876 (my grandfather).
