The Dodson's World Fair shows was my grandfathers. My father died in 1945, and I was raised by my grandfather. I went out with the show when I was very young. The last time I can remember the show going out was probably 1947. My grandfather had one train car made into a house, and he lived on the train. However, when we moved from one town to another he drove his car. I do remember him telling me that it took 52 flat cars to move the show. All equipment were placed in wagons and then 3 or 4 (I do not remember exactly) wagons were pulled onto a flatcar. My grandfather died in Miami where he had lived for the last 17 years of his life. He is buried in Savannah Georgia whered our family plot is located. I was born in 1940. Mel Dodson
