What I should have said was that we can be pretty certain of Ferchar Malcolm Laumon and descendants. I'm not even sure of Ferchar's father any more, and I think Arthur Dall McGorre needs scrutiny. I see there's a current-day Gaelic poet in Scotland who calls himself Artur Dall Mac Gurcaigh.
