    3. Doug, you are already known to be negative (ancestral) for the three new sub-branches of S660 from inspection of your BAM file. You are in a waiting game for someone else to come along and match you. Unless you want to splash out for the more expensive FullGenomes test but that won't find you new matches, more it would potentially add to your list of private SNPs. That would be a decision that needs careful weighing up to ensure you understood what you would and wouldn't get out of it.     3. Iain, I was surprised to discover that Degnen and I, both of the S660 group, have an African Aborigine SNP marker, according to Big Y, albeit quite ancient. And although I tested DF85- (negative), I am wondering if I could be of any other sub-branch or downstream branch of S660. Otherwise I am willing to play the waiting game. Thank goodness for the Internet, but that is how this game gets played.
