.A. "Diz" or "Babe" Disbrow, 77, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Sunday, March 3, 2002, at his home. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific region during his enlistment. He is survived by his sons, Michael R. Disbrow of Homestead, Fla., and Steven W. Disbrow of Hixson; four grandchildren, Cheryl Walker, Colby Disbrow, Maia Disbrow and Jared Disbrow; two great-grandchildren, Hunter Walker and Ashley Rose Walker; and brother, D.E. Disbrow of Decker, Tenn. The funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Robinson officiating. The interment will follow the service in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
