Hello Nancy, The informatioin I have is that Hannah, born 10/3/1804, died 8/8/1885, married Thomas Pearson Brown 23/4/1823, did have a brother Noah born c.1807, died June 1886 and married Isabella Stanton 7/10/1829. >From - Mike Disbrow, listowner Judith - The information you want is in the first volume of my book "Descendants of Thomas & Mercy (Holbridge) Disbrow", pp. 117-18. I have your Hannah Disbrow b. 1801; d. 1885, buried in Fernhill cemetery, St. John, New Brunswick; m. 23 Apr. 1823 in St. John to Thomas Pearson Brown; she is called the "5th dau." of Noah in NB vital records; Hannah and Thomas had children John, Charles, Isabella and Le(?). She is mentioned in her father's will. Hannah is of the sixth generation of descendants of Thomas Disbrow, Sr. Her parents were Noah, Jr. and Isabella (Chillis) Disbrow, as you already know. Noah was son of Noah Disbrow, Sr. and his wife whose name may have been Maria (Scribner). Noah Sr. was son of Joseph and Abigail (Meeker) Disbrow; Joseph son of Thomas Jr. and Abigail (Godwin) Disbrow; thence back to Thomas Sr. whose parents have never been proven. There was another Hannah in the family and she was a sister of Noah Jr., and that is the one mentioned by Nancy Quigley in her reply to you. Many more details of this family are in the book, which is available now in only CD version from me. If you are interested contact me directly by email at: mdisbrow1@sbcglobal.net Hope this helps. DEar Michael, I have searched for my ggggrandmother Rosetta Disbrow. The best information I have is that she was born in 1802 in New Brusnwick NJ. She married John Adis Manley. She died in 1833 in New Brunswick NJ and is buried at the First Dutch Reformed Church there. I believe she had two children Catherine Ann Manley b. 1826 and Francis Manley b1830. I know there were Disbrow families in New Brunswick NJ but I can't make the connection. If I have emailed you before, sorry for the duplicate email as I have had some trouble with email lately. Thanks for you help, Alan Glines MICHAEL DISBROW <mdisbrow1@sbcglobal.net> wrote: >From - Mike Disbrow, listowner Judith - The information you want is in the first volume of my book "Descendants of Thomas & Mercy (Holbridge) Disbrow", pp. 117-18. I certainly can look in my files and get back to you....I am the descendant of Reverend Noah and Isabelle Stanton and I do have lots of information on Noah Disbrow who married Chillias....Noah came to New Brunswick, Canada with his widow mother and his sister Hannah as loyalists in 1774 (have to check my records on dates) I of course would like more on your line as I have very little. Obviously Hannah had children ...could you fill me in on this....and I will send you my information as well..... Hello Nancy, I think I know why my emails with attachments will not go through to you. I think it is because you have contacted me through the Disbrow mailing list and replies should be brief. I do not think the list will accept attachments. Do you have an email address of your own I can send this information to you instead of through the list? Regards, Judith. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nancy Quigley" <nquigley@cupe.ca> To: <disbrow@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, September 05, 2007 11:03 PM Subject: Re: [DISBROW] Hannah Disbrow >I certainly can look in my files and get back to you....I am the descendant > of Reverend Noah and Isabelle Stanton and I do have lots of information on > Noah Disbrow who married Chillias....Noah came to New Brunswick, Canada > with > his widow mother and his sister Hannah as loyalists in 1774 (have to check > my records on dates) > > I of course would like more on your line as I have very little.
