My copies are very poor ones, difficult to de-cipher, though I will be happy to list these by name/date, at least, within the next few days. I already intended to also list, as possible for length, the complete index of all available Disbrowe wills now on file at the Shire Hall, from their index books which I copied appropriate pages from last year. But I must dig all this out (not to worry, all is in proper/safe place, of course!), & get the job done for you and we know what effort that is in the end via these machines.... Please appreciate I'm consumed with historical (non-Disbrowe gen) reading/research angles right now, educating myself (about some truly amazing stuff actually!), but having little to do with this wills business. I should have known the reaction to my "little" Disbrow-L posting just now! Nevertheless, this "wills de-cipherment" issue is certainly a major priority for us all, and also very necessary to my book project in the end. RE that: I do have many new, marvelous angles am uncovering in my far more broadly reaching historical research on Mercy Disbrow(e)'s CT witch trial ...BUT please don't rush the maturing of such good wine---it will be published in book form eventually (hopefully, much sooner than later now!), MEANWHILE, I will attempt to post the above promised material for you all, ASAP. ALSO, I intend to post a transcript on this List of that 1665 letter I handled (most gratifyingly) at the British Library in London last year. This letter was signed by one "Thomas Desborow" who, from internal evidence, in fact could very well have been our own Thomas the migrant to New England as we shall discuss and, as I also believe, Thomas of Eltisley, bp 1625 there too...PLEASE be patient, ...this too shall come and well before my next trip this November! OK? STSquires
