Dear Paul, I am researching the Arnold family from Fairfield Co., Connecticut. I found a James Arnold, married to Catherine Disbrow. James may or may not be my great great great grandfather. It depends on whether he and Catherine had a son named Albert Arnold. I know that they had sons named Edwin and Charles, both of them buried near James and Catherine. I also know that Albert named his first child Edwin Lorenzo, which would have been after his brother (if James is the common father). That is my connection to the Disbrow's, tentative right now, but there is a fairly strong case that it will turn out to be correct. I am try;ing to find obituaries that might name Albert as a relative. Please let me know how your search turns out. The Disbow's were in Fairfield County quite early in the colonization and since it is not too common a name, we may all be distant relatives. Sincerely, Nancy Adams
