    3. Paul - I recognize your name (and not in regards to the comedian/actor of the same name). Maybe it's because you've been on the mailing list for awhile? Anyway, I have this family in my book in some detail. Lodowick S. Disbrow was a son of James and Abigail (Terry) Disbrow, who were originally from Dutchess/Putnam Co., NY. It is believed, but never has been proved that James was a son of Andrew Disbrow of Putnam, originally from Fairfield Co., CT. Andrew was a son of Nathan, and in turn Nathan was a son of Thomas Jr., and then Thomas Sr. of Fairfield. I'm not trying to "push" my book at you, but for the complete picture of this line of Disbrows, it would be worth your while to see it. Check out the link on the Disbrow web site for a description of the book (Part 1, now available only on CD or at one of the libraries listed if you're near one).
