>From - Mike Disbrow, listowner Candy - Unfortunately I can't help you out with any photos, but I might offer you some clues as to your Disbrow ancestry. If you'll check out the 1850 census for Broome Co., NY, town of Chenango, you'll find a Samuel and Mercy Disbrow listed there with seven children, including Alexander, age 10. I believe this was probably your Alexander Collins Disbrow. I don't have this family traced any further back. Samuel was born c1801 in New York and had been listed in the 1840 census in Susquehanna Co., PA. Also, from another source, I was given the information that Samuel's wife Mercy' maiden name was Coon. I also have the Civil War pension papers for Alexander Disbrow, which I'll be glad to share if you want them and don't already have them. You can write to me directly at dizzynorth@gmail.com Lots of luck with your research and I hope you eventually find all those lost photos.
