In case there are some new Dillon researchers on line, I am resending details on my search for the parents and ancestors of William DILLON. William DILLON was born about 1822 in Ohio - most likely in Monroe County. He may have been the son of James DILLON who was living in Perry Township, Monroe County Ohio in the 1840 census. I am looking to identify that James DILLON family and to connect them to their proper DILLON line. In 1850 Monroe County, Green Township census, William Dillon was living with his wife Elizabeth (?) and three sons: Abraham age 6, Henry age 4 and John age 3.
