Ireland; married to a Nancy Keleher; son: John Dillon, Jr. immigrated to USA at age 17 (about 1862-63) and in 1865 married a Kate Kelly of Roscommon Co., Ireland and immigrated to the Stockton area of California and had many children (Sarah Jane Dillon - my maternal great grandmother).
