I'm looking for information on Robert Dillon b. 1820 VA (per census) married to Eliza b. 1822 (no surname known.) I descend from their son, James b. 1846 VA (per census) married to Adelia Wood b. 1852 VA. They had a son, Napolean Bonaparte Dillon b. June 1875 married to Gertrude (Glenn???) b. Feb.1878 OH. Their son, Franklin Hubert Dillon b. 1904 St Albans WV married Dorothy Sines. Franklin died very young (he caught pnuemonia after jumping into the river to save a drowning man) and left only my grandmother, Kathleen Dillon. I would love to have more information about the family and to find more about their spouses family. My nearest library (35 miles away) is called a "Southern History Library" and contains only a couple of books about WV counties or old VA counties now in WV.
