Hello Dillons, I don't connect in any way to the line in the letters; but I do have a suggestion for you if they ever go looking for another "home." There is a wonderful museum in the town of Tehama, a town very near to Vina, I can bet that they would love Ida Dillon's letters. I can see it now: The Pedigree chart, the family group sheets, land deeds to show where the farm was located, a picture or two, and those sweet letters. It would make a great display. Think about it. One of the things that we, as genealogists, must think about is where the final resting place of our research will be: High school year books should be in the county library where the school is located. Diaries should be placed at universities or research centers that specialize in the trail crossed or the community lived in. Family research should have a copy at the National Archives, another in Salt Lake with the LDS, and the originals stay with the family. Think about it now...before your kids clean up all that clutter Mom/Dad have been saving all these years.
