I have checked over a 15 year period for births in England, for both of them but with no luck and am finally coming round to the idea that they possible came over from Ireland. According to Richard's marriage cert. Dennis was a "Traveller", an occupation carried on by Richard and his son (my grandfather) John. If you ever come across a Dennis - occupation traveller - let me know! Regards Eileen
