She was the daughter of Patrick Feeley and Ann Gilbert. She was married to James McGlinchy and they had 8 children born in the 1870's/80's: Rose, (my grandmother), Frances, Joseph, Mary (married John Mead), Catherine (married Alfred Cronin), Francis, Alice (married Edward Rowen), and Agnes. Some if not all of the children spelled the name "Maglinchy". They lived in West Newton, MA near the Waltham line at Nightcap Corner, reportedly named after James McGlinchy, who quieted evening revelers with a nightcap on. Joe Henley (jmhenley@attbi.com)
